CHRISTIAN F. WITZKE (1856-1921) He came to Venezuela with the German company BREUER and they started to do business with the Venezuelan company (CASA BREUER in Maracaibo. Christian F. Witzke was General Consul of Denmark in Maracaibo and he married with Maria Breuer and theY had to daughters MARIA ISABEL WITZKE (NEVER MARRIED DIED IN CARACAS 1.975) and MARIA DE JESUS WITZKE (I KNOW SHE MARRIED AND DIED IN PUERTO RICO); in second marriage with Dolores Limardo (my grand mother), they had a son CARLOS F. WITZKE (1909-1990) (MY FATHER). As very important matter I have to tell you that he was a very important person in this country, he founded in Maracaibo the Chamber of Commerce, The social club Commerce Club, and build the electric light of the city, build the railroad between the port of la Ceiba and the tobacco plantations in the south of Maracaibo Lake. In Caracas he founded the Bolivarian Museum, The Nice Arts Museum and the archeological Museum. The Danish Government gave him the order of the Knights of Dannesborgh, and the Venezuela Government gave him the Order of The Liberator Simon Bolivar.
