Consul of Denmark in Maracaibo and he married with Maria Breuer and theY
had to daughters MARIA ISABEL WITZKE (NEVER MARRIED DIED IN CARACAS

had a son CARLOS F. WITZKE (1909-1990) (MY FATHER). As very important
matter I have to tell you that he was a very important person in this
country, he founded in Maracaibo the Chamber of Commerce, The social
club Commerce Club, and build the electric light of the city, build the
railroad between the port of la Ceiba and the tobacco plantations in the
south of Maracaibo Lake. In Caracas he founded the Bolivarian Museum,
The Nice Arts Museum and the archeological Museum. The Danish Government
gave him the order of the Knights of Dannesborgh, and the Venezuela
Government gave him the Order of The Liberator Simon Bolivar. If you
have any chance to find me how can I get a replica of the Danish order
of Dannesborgh send me a note.
